Do you care about the science behind evolution? Do you marvel at the tiny molecular machines spewing out coded messages to the microscopic inhabitants of your own bodied world? Do you grow irate at the ignorance pushers and the disintegration of evolution education in the modern world? Do you like to stay abreast of current topics and scientific findings in the study of the organismal existences surrounding us or those long gone?
If so, this is the blog carnival for you. (Don't know what a "blog carnival" is? Read this.)

Instructions for Contributor Submissions
If you have posts either directly or indirectly related to evolution, you may use the handy submission form below.
Your posts can be specifically related to current science concerning evolution, opinions, or dealing with whatever current anti-evolution attacks you find in the media or world. Really, anything related to evolution, whether direct or tangential, is fair game. Your inclusion in to the carnival is up to the current host.
Important: When your post is included in a CoE edition, please link back to the edition post from your own blog. Say something like "The CoE is up and I've been included."
If you want your posts read by more people, please submit the carnival edition to social bookmarking sites (StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit). Promotion is a key factor in creating a successful blog carnival!
Instruction for Hosts
We are ALWAYS looking for more individuals to host future incarnations of Carnival of Evolution, which occur on a monthly basis. To host, simply send an email to irradiatus [at] biochemicalsoul.com. I'll get you set up for the next available date, or whenever works best for you.
As a host of the Carnival of Evolution, all you really have to do is list the links that people submit (which will come to you via BlogCarnival.com, which is how most people submit through the submission form).
The best editions have entertaining, informative, or funny editorializing of each link (your own thoughts).
Some people take the much more creative route. For an EXCELLENT example of a creative blog carnival edition, check out Miriam Goldstein's "Carnival of the Blue #21" devoted to the ocean (at The Oyster's Garter).
It's obviously much harder to accomplish editions like hers...
Another great way to do it is to set up some sort of categorizing, such as Kevin Zelnio's recent "Circus of the Spineless #35" devoted to invertebrates (at The Other 95%).
But really - you can do anything you want. The key goal is to try and make it YOURS.
If there are posts that you think should not be included, you have complete editorial freedom. Some people don't like to include much of the Evolution/Creationism/ID debate and prefer to focus on current science. It's all up to you.
Personally, my own desire is to have the Carnival focused heavily on cool and current evolutionary science/topics. But I will always include good posts on the "debate" (or non-debate).
Important: When you publish your edition, please do the following:
It is also considered good form to post a "Call for Submissions" when your turn to host arrives. This is often done when the edition before yours is published. You should publish a post linking to the current edition, followed by something like "Hey everyone, I'm hosting next. Send me your submissions."
The more interlinking and advertising we get, the more everyone benefits.
