CoE poster for Ottawa

BEACON has a booth at Evolution 2012 in Ottawa, and they have invited me to put up a poster about Carnival of Evolution.

A suggestion: maybe add one of those square "bar code" things so that people can capture the web address and/or your e-mail with their smart phones.

It's too late for this occasion (sorry) but they are called QR codes and can be generated at misc. websites like: http://qrcode.kaywa.com/

About Carnival of Evolution

Do you care about the science behind evolution? Do you marvel at the tiny molecular machines spewing out coded messages to the microscopic inhabitants of your own bodied world? Do you grow irate at the ignorance pushers and the disintegration of evolution education in the modern world? Do you like to stay abreast of current topics and scientific findings in the study of the organismal existences surrounding us or those long gone?

Instructions for Contributor Submissions

If you have posts either directly or indirectly related to evolution, submit by commenting with a URL on the Facebook page.

Your posts can be specifically related to current science concerning evolution, opinions, or dealing with whatever current anti-evolution attacks you find in the media or world. Really, anything related to evolution, whether direct or tangential, is fair game. Your inclusion in to the carnival is up to the current host.

Important: When your post is included in a CoE edition, please link back to the edition post from your own blog. Say something like "The CoE is up and I've been included."

If you want your posts read by more people, please submit the carnival edition to social bookmarking sites (Facebook, Twitter, G+, StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit). Promotion is a key factor in creating a successful blog carnival!
